The Gold package is our most popular headlight restoration service in London — and for good reason. It combines two professional techniques in a single visit: machine polishing to restore the clarity of your lenses, followed by a high-quality ceramic coating to protect the surface and dramatically extend the life of your restoration.
Machine polishing uses professional dual-action and rotary equipment with progressively finer compounds to remove oxidation, haze, yellowing and surface damage more thoroughly than hand polishing. The result is a noticeably deeper, more even clarity.
Ceramic coating for headlights is then applied to the freshly polished lens. Unlike wax or sealant, a proper ceramic coating bonds chemically to the polycarbonate surface and creates a semi-permanent protective layer that resists UV rays, environmental contamination and oxidation. This is what makes the Gold results last approximately 3 years without any maintenance.

The Gold process is more thorough than Silver, involving multiple machine polishing stages before the ceramic coating is applied.
We examine both headlights to assess the level of oxidation, haze, yellowing, crazing or micro-cracking and confirm the correct sanding and polishing approach.
Surrounding paintwork, trim and bodywork are masked to protect your car during sanding, machine polishing and ceramic application stages.
Progressive wet sanding removes the degraded outer polycarbonate layer, oxidation, haze and surface damage — preparing the lens for machine polishing.
Machine heavy cut compound buffing removes the deeper sanding marks and significant oxidation, levelling the lens surface to prepare for finer polishing stages.
Machine compound buffing refines the surface further, removing lighter sanding marks and haze left from the heavy cut stage for a cleaner finish.
A fine machine polish brings out the full optical clarity of the lens, removing any remaining micro-scratches and producing a crystal-clear finish.
A professional-grade ceramic coating is applied to the polished lens. It bonds to the polycarbonate surface and creates a durable UV-resistant protective layer that lasts approximately 3 years.

The ceramic coating protects your headlights for approximately 3 years. Results stay noticeably clearer for significantly longer than polishing alone thanks to the chemical bond of the coating.
No maintenance necessary. The ceramic coating does the work. For the very best results over time, we suggest applying Car.Pro Reload 2 as a periodic topper — but this is optional, not required.

We come to you across South, South West & Central London. No garage visits needed. We require dry weather conditions as the ceramic coating needs to be applied in suitable conditions.
If you're not satisfied with the results, we'll refund you in full — no questions asked. In the rare case that damage is too severe to restore, we will not charge you.
Headlight ceramic coating is a specialist application distinct from body panel coatings. We use a high-quality product formulated specifically for polycarbonate lenses to ensure long-lasting adhesion and UV protection.
Note on sanding and pricing: Sanding is required for every restoration in the Gold package. For standard oxidation, yellowing and haze, pricing starts from £100. If your headlights show crazing, micro-cracking, or require removal of heavy manufacturer hard coat, additional sanding time of 1–2 hours may be needed. This is discussed transparently with you before any additional charge applies.
